Extraordinary
Ministers of Holy Communion -
Evening of Reflection
Theme: "Woven With the
Eucharist"
Thursday, December 9, 2010
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
We are called to bring the Eucharist to
others in Sacramental form. We are also called to bring Christ to
others by our presence. In a real sense, we need to be “Woven With the
Eucharist” in our daily lives, so that as we share the Real Presence of
Jesus with others, we also share His presence in the way we interact
with others.
Our Catholic
Tradition maintains the Eucharist is the “Source
and Summit of our lives. As people entrusted to bring the Lord to others,
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are called to a specific way
of life and mission so they may become people of the Eucharist.
Exploring an overview of St. Teresa
of Avila’s, Interior Castle, we
will see how the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist moves us inwardly
and then outwardly towards others to whom we are called to serve in
daily life. Please plan to join fellow Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion on Thursday,
December 9, 2010. Cost for the evening, including dinner is $25.00 per person.
Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. Please call the retreat house
for a brochure and/or to register at: 330-896-2315 or 800-827-1416.Co-Sponsored by Office of Pastoral Liturgy, Diocese
